Internships help to build a bridge between Classroom education and the real world of work, opening doors for young students and professionals to attend 12 months paid internships in Denmark.

Internships are a student’s first opportunity to glimpse into the business world and see how the concepts they learned in school truly apply. Participants will pick up invaluable skills which will go on to help them in their hospitality careers.

Expedia Africa is partnering with Bixter Training in Denmark to arrange, a 12 months traineeship for hospitality students from Uganda.

• Current Students, Minimum, second year.

• Both Male and Female

• Age: 18 – 29

-Tourism & Hospitality management
– Hotel Management ,
– Catering and Culinary.

• 1,700 Euros per month.

• Work Load per week -40 hours, 5days.

• 2days off per week but overtime is allowed during busy days.

• Total program fees – (Air ticket inclusive ).

• Medical.

• Submission of Application, 1 passport photo, 1 full photo, letters of recommendation, plus testimonial results.

• Motivation letter

• First technical Evaluation- By Partner agency in Denmark

• Initial Deposit of upon receiving and signing the Placement

• contract from Denmark.

• Creation of trainee case ID

• Application for a residence permit

• Biometrics at the Embassy

• Visa Application

• The Process Takes 2 – 3 months.

• Visa approval

• Payment of the last installment –

• Arrival in Denmark.
